Visiting Boscoreale
December 2, 2015, students taking part in the school exchange and target groups from Plinio Seniore visited the Antiquarium of Boscoreale.
Instituted in 1991, the National Antiquarium of Boscoreale documents the life of the ancient inhabitants of the Vesuvius area, with exhibits from the sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis, Stabiae, Terzigno and Boscoreale. The visiting itinerary unfolds in two rooms. The first is dedicated to the territory’s physical features, such as the sea, hills, and mountains, and human activities tied to these aspects: hunting, fishing and animal farming, with series of significant objects, such as the interesting remains of foods. The second room presents the principal archaeological finds discovered at the Boscoreale site.

December 1, 2015, students taking part in the school exchange watched a documentary on the reconstruction of Stabian villas in 3D, made by a teacher of Plinio Seniore.
Then, there was a little debate about the relationship between Classical and digital culture. Later on, students who were in international groups started to work in the twinspace profile, in their experiences with Italian families, and in the dictionary of mythological plants.
