Welcome to Urbi high school

Today has been the first day of the 4th mobility.

At 8:15 in the morning, we celebrated the traditional international breakfast in the Library. The principal Jon Mendiolagoitia and the secretary teacher Iraitz Lopez welcomed the foreign students and teachers after the "agurra" Basque dance was performed by one student of the school.

Later on, foreign students worked on the project in a computer room.

By mid-morning, foreign students and teachers went to Gernika where they visited the Assembly House and the oak. At last, they attended a course of Cesta Punta in the fronton Jai Alai.

Benvenuti a Bilbao!!!

At last, the students of Plinio Seniore got to Bilbao at 9:20 in the evening!! They were exhausted but very happy at the same time. Benvenuti!!!

Today, early in the morning, some students of ancient Greek made posters to agree the students from Barbakeio high school. Later on, we went to the airport to pick up the Greek students and teachers. Καλώς ήρθατε!!!

Meeting with parents at Urbi high school

On 30 November, at 18:30, Karmele L. de Abetxuko and María Jesús Ramírez held a parents and students meeting in order to arrange the last details for the 4th mobility that will start on 9 December. All participants were enthusiastic about the idea of sharing a week with our Italian and Greek partners. Come soon, we are waiting for you!!!"

Talk about etwinning at the Basque Faculty of Letters

On Tuesday, 18 November, in the auditorium of the Faculty of Letters (UPV Gasteiz), at three in the afternoon, the teachers of Urbi high school and eTwinning ambassadors: Karmele Lopez de Abetxuko and María Jesús Ramírez gave a talk about " eTwinning an efficient tool for learning Classics."

Visiting the Artistic Reproductions Museum of Bilbao

On Friday, 11 November, F.O.R students from IES Urbi visited the Artistic Reproduction Museum in Bilbao. In addition to the visit, they took part in a workshop on the "Golden Ratio."
