FOR project`s contents

This project intends to apply innovative CLIL method to multilingual learning-teaching system in upper secondary education, with the regard to develop academic language skills related to Botany vocabulary and mythology, and social language abilities in English to B2 level. So, having as starting point the official curricula of upper secondary education within our respective countries (Spain, Italy, and Greece), upper secondary pupils are going to work simultaneously on various contents in English (Botany related vocabulary in English and modern languages, classical roots of Botany vocabulary, classical myths and plants) belonging to more than one academic discipline: modern languages (English and partners` mother tongues: Spanish, Basque, Italian, and Greek), classical languages and literatures (Latin and Ancient Greek), classical culture (Mythology), natural science (Botany related vocabulary), and computers (on line platforms and applications).

Couples on the Erasmus corner`s board

On November 24, at Urbi high school, we placed the pictures with the couples taking part in the school exchange to Castellammare on the Erasmus corner`s board.

Evaluating linguistic competencies through e-ELP



On November 23, target-group students of Urbi high school evaluated their linguistic skills in English, level B2, through e-ELP. They will do the same thing at the end of the current school year in order to assess their improvement.

Parents meeting at Urbi high school

On November 18, parents of FOR target group students met at Urbi high school in order to prepare the first school exchange to Castellammare di Stabia. Parents took advantage of the opportunity to evaluate their intercultural and plurilingual competences through the ELP (European Language Portfolio) at Urbi high school. They will repeat the same evaluation at the end of the current school year, in order to see if there have been any changes related to these competences.
