FOR project`s contents

This project intends to apply innovative CLIL method to multilingual learning-teaching system in upper secondary education, with the regard to develop academic language skills related to Botany vocabulary and mythology, and social language abilities in English to B2 level. So, having as starting point the official curricula of upper secondary education within our respective countries (Spain, Italy, and Greece), upper secondary pupils are going to work simultaneously on various contents in English (Botany related vocabulary in English and modern languages, classical roots of Botany vocabulary, classical myths and plants) belonging to more than one academic discipline: modern languages (English and partners` mother tongues: Spanish, Basque, Italian, and Greek), classical languages and literatures (Latin and Ancient Greek), classical culture (Mythology), natural science (Botany related vocabulary), and computers (on line platforms and applications).

Goodbye dear friends!

In the afternoon, at 16:30, we said our goodbyes to the Italian students and their teachers. Have a good trip!

Today, at 10:30, we have said goodbye to the Greek students and teacher. We'll miss you!




Closing ceremony

During the afternoon, certificates were handed out in the closing ceremony. Thank you very much for support and collaboration to Urbi pupils, foreign students and teachers, especially, to Giovanna Domestico, Giovanna Pizzuti, Fortunella Santaniello and Loukas Haralambides. ALL TOGETHER WE ACHIEVED THAT!!!



The last day in Urbi high school, FOR students participated in the Mythological Garden activity and in the interactive exercises.

On Friday 16th, students were working in the project and presented their works on the Collaborative Dictionary of Mythological Plants.

On Thursday 14, F.O.R. students target group visited Eureka Science Museum in San Sebastian and made a tour activity through the city in multicultural groups.

F.O.R. Erasmus+ students and teachers visited the neo cave of Altamira. They took part in the activity called "In times of Altamira", and joined in a hunting workshop. They have thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

On the 11th of April, 2016

Today the Italian and the Greek have visited the Assembly House of Gernika. The famous oak tree date from the 14th century and it´s the symbol of the history of the Basque people.


The 3rd exchange starts at Urbi

Today, the principal (Jon Mendiolagoitia) and the secretary (Iraitz Lopez) of Urbi high school welcomed the F.O.R. Erasmus + foreign students and teachers. Thus, the traditional Basque dance called "aurresku" was performed by two students, and foreign teachers were presented with some flowers. Feel welcome!
